Miss Teen USA commentary
After we finished watching the mega-hit movie Starsky & Hutch, we tuned into the Miss Teen USA pageant, thanks to Rebecca's enthusiastic reminder! Some things just can't be missed! When it came down to the final five, I thought for sure Miss Teen Hawaii would win, even though she said she would ban all fast-food restaurants if she became President. I was humored by Rebecca's reasoning for her favorite -Miss Tennessee- because she liked her long curly hair like I used to have. Oh, Rebecca sometimes we just can't let go of our dreams... Hawaii didn't win, but I wasn't too disappointed by Louisiana taking the crown. She just looked so young! No, I didn't get faklempted upon her "first walk" as the victor, but I have to admit that I wished she would have said, "...and I really do want world peace!"
How's that for a quality date night with my husband!
