Kids’ Email Addresses

Do any of your (older) kids have their own email address? If they do, send it to me (via email), and I can send them an invitiation to this site, so they can have their own Blogger account, and post for themselves here.

I'm thinking (obviously) that this is more geared towards the older kids. I think it would be great if they could post for themselves here, and let us know what they're up to.

On a related note, if you (or your kids) need an email address, I have a couple of invites to Gmail left. Gmail is a free webmail service that Google is starting, that offers a great interface and 1 gigabyte of storage space - you'll never have to delete a message again. To me, the best feature of a webmail account is that you can check/send your mail from any computer that has Internet access, and not just your own computer.

Right now, Gmail is in beta, which means that it's invitation-only. It will be open to everyone at some point in the future, once they work out all the bugs. I have 3 invites to the beta left as of now, so if you're interested, let me know, and I'll hook you up.

Invites Sent

I just sent out an "announcement" email, followed by an email to sign up for the necessary Blogger.com account, so you can all post to this site. Go ahead and follow the directions to sign up for a Blogger account.

Fill out as much or as little of your "Profile" information (location, interests, etc.) as you like. I recommend that you fill out, at a minimum, First Name, Last Name, and Display Name, so we can see who you are when you post here.

Once you're signed up, the easiest way to post is to go to www.blogger.com, sign in, then click the New Post button next to SullivanPavilion. Enter the title and body of what you want to post, then click "Publish Post". Note that if you click Save Draft, your post won't appear on the site until you click Publish Post.

Please let me know if you run into any problems or frustrations. You can reach me at my regular email address, or webmaster@sullivanpavilion.com.

Start your posting engines - let's hear what you have to say!

This is a test from Sullivan #5

Isn't this spiffy. Josh is going to be so proud of me, his geeky wife. Hope y'all are doing well, gearing up for the upcoming reunion. We are also planning on coming to Giles' blessing this Sunday. Last weekend we went to Seattle to visit Josh's brother and family. Emma survived the trip, but not without a few tantrums and stinky diapers! She sure loved playing with her cousins there- Brooke (14 months) and Andrew (4 years). After playing with Andrew's trucks during that time, Josh has taught her to say "uk" for truck! Emma can't wait to play with her cousins at the reunion in a few weeks!

here we go again

Hope you are there!! Josh is so patient in writing down instructions. Our computer went kapooi the other night and so we got a new one and should be here at the end of the week. So in the meantime, we are using Dad's laptop here at home. He usually uses at the Storehouse.

What improvements do you want to see?

The site as it is now is pretty much just a basic template. There are lots of features that I'd like to eventually add, such as a Help section for questions about posting, uploading photos, etc.

This site is for the whole Sullivan family - what do you want to have here? A calendar? A recipe section?

I can probably implement most anything that you would want to see here. All you have to do is let me know what it is! :-)

Post a comment here, or email me, and I'll see what I can do.

    • Afternoon - back porch production by kids, swimming (possibly taking a crew to Willamalane)
    • 6pm - dinner, steak, salad
    • Evening - Game night (Rook, slappsies & creepsies, Rumikube, Phase 10, Bingo) complete with orange/slush drink

Anyone have a digital copy of the "CES" logo?

I'd like to incorporate the famous "CES" logo into this website. Does anyone have it in electronic form (digital photo, scanned, etc.)? If so, can you send it to me?
