Welcome to the 2008 Olympics!  We are so thrilled about this!  I have spent too many late nights watching it, but heck, who doesn't enjoy the emotional bio-stories of all these amazing athletes?  Every free moment is filled with the family checking what events are being shown.  Beach Volleyball ROCKED and swimming is amazing! We are very anxious for the all time fav- Gymnastics!  Oh, and what about syncronized diving, Badmiten, or the other weird events?  Love them all.  Happy watching!  Feel free to call late for a personal one-on-one Olympic annalisis. You know it's been one of those days when you bounce your child during the Tuck Tuck song with your teeth gritting and you change the words: "Tuck tuck, tuck tuck, I love you, Tuck Tuck, tuck tuck, yes I do. You're my little sweetheart, you're my little doll, you're my little pain in the butt, I love you best of all..."

Here are some pictures of our newest addition.  We're so proud.  We have partied hard on the boat this year. 

So I took the kids swimming tonight at the local YMCA.  Can we say "FECAL EVACUATION"? You know, there always has to be a party pooper.  Someone who just can't wait and has to let it go in the pool.  And ofcourse every parent swears it wasn't their perfect little toddler.  Whoever it was, they ruined the whole night!  Actually I really wanted to get out early so it worked out perfectly!  And no it was not my kids.  I think!

Story Time-So a few nights ago Bryan fell asleep on the couch and Jayden decided to sleep on the couch with him.  The next morning we noticed this bump on Bryan's face. (see picture)  We asked Jayden what happened and he said that right before he was going to sleep he saw a spider crawling on Bryan.  He tried to smoosh it but got freaked out and ran upstairs leaving the spider to bite Bryan right on the cheek.  Now that's a true brother.  The next night the kids swear they killed the same spider that bit Bryan. Revenge. Thought you would get a kick out of that story.

Of course, I had to take the token "baby cousins in the tub" photo. These two had a ball playing together for those few days.

We had fun watching Annie and Brytlin while Rebecca and James partied in Vegas. The best way I can explain it is having two sets of twins. Friends one minute, enemies the next. And just plain fun. Now these girls didn't spend the whole time watching Dora - this is just a shot of their early morning t.v. zone out.

In April I helped watch Liz while Mom and Dad went on a trip. I've been meaning to post the photos of one of our "Liz Adventures" that weekend. We went to McDonald's one day and to Hendricks Park the next. These are the photos during our hilarious Hendricks Park walk in which Liz pushed Gabe off of her lap TWICE. So where is everyone?  It has been a long time since someone put something new on this site.  It's kinda getting old!  I'm thinking of making my own blogspot now since this site is so slow.  I feel bad putting all my family stuff on here but no one else is doing it!  Maybe you are all extreemly busy.  Maybe a few of you are building a house or putting in new floors or possibly marrying off your kids.  Hummm.... maybe I need to get busy.  We have been very busy this summer.  Vegas was a blast and thanks to 3 of my fav siblings for helping me out with the kids.  In fact the highlight of my 4 oldest's summer has to be the adventures at the EBERT house.  They loved the caves, the bowling, the chickens, the go-carts, and even the mean Aunt Ann!!  Brytlin started calling Sara "Mom" and wanted nothing to do with me when I came home.  The next 3 weeks are full of Scout camp, Activity Day camp, and Girl's Camp-yes girl's camp for Elyse.  I'll make sure to post more pics soon!  Love you all!

This is our Vegas Poker Tournament.  We got $40 in nickels and had an intense game of poker.  I stink at the game, but putting on our poker faces and disguises was a lot of fun!
